A cosmetic agent for temporary deformation of hair, comprising a combination of a selected copolymer (a) and a vinylpyrrolidone homopolymer (b). In particular, the cosmetic agent comprises: (a) at least one copolymer A, comprising: at least one monomer Al selected from acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, acrylic acid alkyl esters and methacrylic acid alkyl esters, and at least one amphoteric monomer A2 of the Formula (I) (I) wherein R1 is H or CH3, R2 and R3, is independently a branched or non-branched C1-10 alkyl, and n denotes an integer from 1-20, and (b) at least one vinylpyrrolidone homopolymer. Also disclosed is use of the cosmetic agent for temporary deformation of hair.
