PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic deodorizing device certainly preventing a discharge of ozone to the open air even when a flow sending device is suddenly stopped.
SOLUTION: The catalytic deodorizing device is constituted so as to be provided with a fan locking sensing means 21 for sensing the locking of a fan motor 11 and a power feed stopping means 22 for adjusting or stopping the action of a catalytic reactor 12 by the sensing of the locking of the fan motor 11. By this constitution, since the action as the catalytic reactor 12 is automatically stopped even when the fan motor 11 is suddenly stopped by any cause, the production of ozone into air is prevented. As a result, the back flow of ozone toward a suction port 4 can be prevented. Accordingly, even if the fan motor 11 is suddenly stopped, the discharge of ozone to the open air can be prevented.
