The method of manufacturing an ultrasonic probe includes forming kerfs on a surface of the matching layer, forming an electrode on the surface of the matching layer at which the kerfs are formed, or on an opposite surface thereof, and mounting the surface provided with the electrode on the piezoelectric material.
