PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information detector capable of adjusting an effective length of fixing means to a physique of a living body, and securing stable detectability by causing an electrode to come in contact with a surface of the living body with predetermined pressing force.SOLUTION: A biological information detector includes a device body 2, a heartbeat detection part 3a and 3b provided integrally with the device body 2, having a pair of electrodes 7a and 7b, and a fixing band 80 formed of an expandable belt-like member for attaching the device body 2 and the heartbeat detection part 3a and 3b to the user. The fixing band 80 has an adjusting part 30 that can adjust an effective length of the fixing band 80.
