There is disclosed herein a device (5) for improving flow of air through the nasal cavity of wearer of the device, the device comprising a substantially U-shaped body forming a bridge (7) for spanning the nostrils of a wearer when the device is in use and a first body (16a) and a second body (16b) interconnected with opposite upright portions (7a,b) of the U-shaped body, each comprising a rib (12a,b) which extends outwardly from a portion of the U-shaped body distal to the bridge and ends in a section (13a,b) which forms a relatively large surface area portion or has one defined by a padded attachment. The first and second bodies either abut an inner nostril wall or are adjustable such that each relatively large surface area portion can be urged against a nostril wall, whereby resistance to flow of air is substantially reduced.
