PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope having improved bending performance so as to be able to cope with even a narrow space inside a body cavity.SOLUTION: The endoscope includes an insertion part including a treatment tool-inserting tube 24. The insertion part has a bend part 32 bent to one direction by a bending operation. In a bend section coming into a bent state in the treatment tool-inserting tube 24 when the bend part 32 is bent, flexibility of an inner circumferential side face part 24A of the treatment tool-inserting tube 24 forming the inner circumferential side in bending is larger than flexibility of an outer circumferential side face part 24B of the treatment tool-inserting tube 24 forming the outer circumferential side in bending.
