PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the efficacy of defatted Perilla frutescens after oil squeezing has been found out but not enough and a lot of defatted Perilla frutescens is discarded； though, on the other hand, the "Perilla frutescens oil" squeezed oil from Perilla frutescens seeds is distributed widely as a food and has attracted attention as a health food and, is also utilized for a cosmetic not only as a food but also as an oil and fat for compensating sebum, the production of Perilla frutescens seeds has been increasing every year, and Perilla frutescens cultivation spreads in various places.SOLUTION: Newly, we found out a collagen production promoting action for a defatted Perilla frutescens extract and newly provide a collagen production promoter of defatted Perilla frutescens extract, a periodontitis improving agent of defatted Perilla frutescens extract based on a collagen production promoting effect, and an application to moisturizing cosmetics.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】 エゴマ種子から搾油した「エゴマ油」が食品として広く流通しており、健康食品として注目されている。また食用ばかりでなく、皮脂を補うための油脂として化粧品にも利用されていることから、エゴマ種子の生産量は年々増加し各地でエゴマ栽培が広がっている。一方、搾油後の脱脂エゴマについては有効性が見出されているが、充分とはいえず廃棄される脱脂エゴマは多い。【解決手段】 新規に、脱脂エゴマ抽出物についてコラーゲン産生促進作用を見出し、脱脂エゴマ抽出物のコラーゲン産生促進剤、およびコラーゲン産生促進効果に基づく脱脂エゴマ抽出物の歯周病改善剤、保湿化粧料への用途を新たに提供する。【選択図】なし
