Cat feeding systems and methods are disclosed. The system includes a package (120) holding a plurality of feeders. Each feeder device (50, 124) is made up of a hollow container (52) configured to dispense a portion of the daily proportion of the dry cats feed of the cat therefrom. Each feeder has an inner cavity 44 delimited by an arcuate outer surface 64 that provides the appearance of the organisms that make up the food of the wild cats. The container has an outflow port (54A, 54B) configured to allow a portion of the cat food to be gradually discharged from the outflow port when the container is rolled on the surface by the feeder and the playing cat.
