PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stable and soluble antibodies that inhibit VEGF.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a soluble and stable anti-VEGF immunobinder comprising a CDR from a rabbit monoclonal antibody. The antibody is designed for diagnosis and/or treatment of VEGF-mediated disorders. A hybridoma, nucleic acid vector and host cell for expressing the recombinant antibody of the invention, a method for isolating them and the use of the antibody in medicine are also disclosed. In one embodiment, the invention provides an immunobinder that binds to VEGF so that suitable for blocking the function of VEGF in vivo.
