According to the present invention, a clutch apparatus (13) comprises a clutch pin (20), a pinion gear (32), a first bearing (38a), a second bearing (38b), and a gap adjustment unit (13a). The clutch pin (20) is placed in the radial direction of a spool shaft (16) to penetrate through the same. The pinion gear (32) can move in an axial direction to a on-position where the same is engaged with the clutch pin (20) to integrally rotate with a spool shaft (16) and to an off-position where the same is disengaged from the clutch pin (20). The first bearing (38a) is placed on the outer peripheral surface of a first support unit (32a) of a spool shaft (12) of the pinion gear (32), and supports the pinion gear (32) such that the same can rotate on a reel body (1) and also moves in an axial direction.
