The present invention relates to a method for lowering the collagen molecular weight derived from one or more types selected from the group consisting of the pig leather, cowhide and fish skin, and pig leather with the lowered collagen molecular weight manufactured thereby. The method comprises adding a mixed enzyme in which a protease and a microbial enzyme are mixed after cutting the pig leather, primarily stirring the same at 30 to 50°C, and secondarily stirring the same at 60 to 90°C. According to the present invention, the molecular weight of collagen derived from the pig leather is lowered to increase an internal resorption rate.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017본 발명은 돈피, 우피 및 어피로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상에서 유래된 콜라겐 분자량을 낮추는 방법 및 이에 따라 제조된 콜라겐의 분자량을 낮춘 돈피에 관한 것으로 돈피를 절단한 후 단백질 분해효소 및 미생물 효소가 혼합된 혼합효소를 첨가하여 30 내지 50 ℃에서 1차 교반한 다음 60 내지 90 ℃에서 2차 교반하는 단계를 포함함으로써, 돈피 유래 콜라겐의 분자량을 낮추어 체내 흡수율을 높인다.
