PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing spinning reel in which a body is light weight, and in which support accuracy and support intensity of a rear support part can be achieved.SOLUTION: A fishing spinning reel 100 of the invention comprises: a reel body 1 having a body 10 with a side opening 13； and a spool reciprocation device 50 stored in the body 10. The body 10 comprises: a peripheral wall part 22b formed into a cylindrical shape with a handle axis 5 as a center, for surrounding a storage space in the body 10； and an edge 13a of a side opening 13 to which a lid member 30 is attached, the lid member having a bearing part for supporting the handle axis 5.
