PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing apparatus for reliably removing odors contained in the air.SOLUTION: The deodorizing apparatus 10A includes: a case 11 having a peripheral wall 15 extended vertically and a top opening 17 a blow fan 13 installed in the lower end part 18 of the case 11 to allow air to flow toward the top opening 17 from the lower end part 18 a deodorizing cartridge 14A having a plurality of passages vertically extended to allow the air to pass through and detachably installed in the case 11 immediately above the fan 13 and through-holes 22 formed in the peripheral wall 15 extended to the lower end part 18 of the case 11 and introducing the air into the case 11. The air introduced into the case 11 through the through-holes 22 by the fan 13 passes through the air flow channels of the cartridge 14A to flow out to the outside of the case 11 from the top opening 17.
