PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and system for closure of a perivalvular leak.SOLUTION: Described are a device and method for medically sealing a perivalvular leak associated with implanted valves. For example, a bioresorbable tissue infiltratable sheet is provided for insertion through a perivalvular leak. A filament extending through the sheet is also provided which causes the sheet to gather around the filament on either side of the perivalvular leak when the filament is pulled.
