PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical imaging apparatus capable of cutting down data size of overall data and stably processing the data by cutting down the data size of synchronous information that associates projection data with electrocardiographic information.SOLUTION: An electrocardiograph connecting device 212 acquires electrocardiographic information 404 through an electrocardiograph 211, adds each elements data of the synchronous information 5 in chronological order, and outputs to a system control device 221 and an operation table control device 401. The system control device 221 adds the acquired electrocardiographic information 404 to each unit projection data of the projection data 224 acquired at the same time during X-ray irradiation and stores them.
