PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating instrument having a compact heating head 2.SOLUTION: A heating head 2 includes a heating unit 20, and a heat source 22 for heating the heating unit 20. The heat source 22 is constituted of a planar heating element. The heat source 22 is constituted of the planar heating element including a heat generation part 53 and terminal parts 54, 54 respectively provided to both ends of the heat generation part 53. The heat generation part 53 includes a pair of bend parts 55, 55 formed in a winding shape, and a connection part 56 for connecting one end each of both bend parts 55, 55 with each other. The cross section of the bend part 55 and the connection part 56 is roughly rectangular.
