The invention relates to the finding that very favorable pharmacokineticcharacters are obtained by combining two strontium salts in one pharmaceuticalcomposition. The present invention relates in one aspect to a pharmaceuticalcomposition comprising at least two strontium salts for use as a medicament,and in particular for the treatment and prevention of bone disorders such asosteoporosis. The composition preferably comprises strontium carbonate andstrontium chlorides. Further included may be a vitamin D compound, preferablyvitamin D3.
