A light-tight door assembly may include a door with a leading side and a non-leading side. The door may be mounted to an enclosure so that the door can be translated with respect to an opening in the enclosure between an opened position and a closed position. A first flange member may be mounted to the non-leading side of the door and a second flange member may be mounted to the enclosure so that the second flange member cooperates with, but does not contact, the first flange member when the door is in the closed position. The non-contact cooperation of the first and second flange members forms a substantially light-tight seal when the door is in the closed position.Linvention concerne un ensemble porte opaque pouvant comprendre une porte dotée dun côté avant et dun côté non avant.
