The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for predicting and classifying the dementia progression of a patient with amyloid positive mild cognitive impairment. A method for predicting and classifying dementia progression according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a step of collecting biometric data including the brain image of a patient with amyloid positive mild cognitive impairment from a patient group database, a step of acquiring basic data for analyzing the collected biometric data and analyzing the acquired basic data using a predetermined data analysis technique and a step of classifying patients with amyloid positive mild cognitive impairment based on the analyzed basic data into a first group and a second group according to the progression rate of dementia.본 발명은 아밀로이드 양성 경도인지장애 환자의 치매 진행을 예측하여 분류하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로서 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따라 치매 진행을 예측하여 분류하는 방법은, 환자군 데이터베이스로부터 아밀로이드 양성 경도인지장애 환자에 대한 뇌 영상이 포함된 생체 데이터를 수집하는 단계, 수집된 생체 데이터로부터 분석을 위한 기초 데이터를 획득하고, 소정의 데이터 분석 기법을 이용하여 획득된 기초 데이터를 분석하는 단계 및 분석된 기초 데이터를 기초로 하여 아밀로이드 양성 경도인지 장애 환자를 치매의 진행 속도에 따라 제 1 그룹 및 제 2 그룹으로 분류하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
