PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform hydroponics at home or in an office by installing a hydroponics apparatus/system on a desk or a desktop.SOLUTION: A hydroponics apparatus is equipped with: a base section 3 capable of mounting a hydroponics unit 2 thereon an arm section 4 extended from the base section 3 and an illumination section 5 which is fixed at the tip of the arm section 4 and capable of illuminating the hydroponics unit 2 mounted on the base section 3. The illumination section 5 is equipped with a light-emitting diode 9 as a light source. The base section 3 is equipped with a power source unit 10 for feeding power to the light-emitting diode 9, forms a power source housing space 7 for housing the power source unit 10, and closes the power source housing space 7 in a waterproof state.
