PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonograph having excellent handleability for an operator and capable of facilitating an examination and to provide a control method of the ultrasonograph.SOLUTION: An ultrasonograph 1 is configured to be connectable with an ultrasonic probe 2 having an oscillator, and performs a prescribed measuring process with respect to a measuring object. The ultrasonograph includes a controller that performs transmission/reception processing of transmitting ultrasonic waves from the ultrasonic probe 2 to the measuring object and generating a reception signal of a plurality of frames on the basis of reflected ultrasonic waves received by the ultrasonic probe 2 generates a tomographic image on the basis of the reception signal for every frame acquires an angle of the ultrasonic probe 2 when performing the transmission/reception processing compares the angle of the ultrasonic probe 2 with a prescribed target angle generates a guide image for guiding the angle of the ultrasonic probe 2 towards the target angle on the basis of a difference of the angle of the ultrasonic probe 2 with respect to the target angle and performs display processing of superimposedly displaying the guide image on the tomographic image corresponding to the frame in which the angle of the ultrasonic probe has been acquired.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】操作者が使い勝手がよく、簡便に検査を可能な超音波診断装置および超音波診断装置の制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】振動子を有する超音波探触子2が接続可能に構成され、測定対象に対して所定の計測処理を行う超音波診断装置1であって、超音波探触子2から測定対象に向けて超音波を送信させ、超音波探触子2が受信した反射超音波に基づき複数フレームの受信信号を生成する送受信処理を行い、フレーム毎の受信信号に基づき断層画像の生成し、送受信処理時の超音波探触子2の角度を取得し、超音波探触子2の角度と所定の目標角度とを比較し、目標角度に対する超音波探触子2の角度の差分に基づき、超音波探触子2の角度を目標角度へ誘導させるためのガイド画像を生成し、ガイド画像を超音波探触子の角度を取得したフレームに対応する断層画像に重畳して表示する表示処理を行う、制御器を備えた。【選択図】図1
