A sleeve stop for use with a surgical access device. A surgical access device includes a cannula and a sleeve stop 800. The sleeve stop is configured for selective engagement with the elongated portion of the cannula and is configured to limit distal advancement of the cannula relative to tissue. The sleeve stop is a unitary structure and includes a body portion having a first section 810a and a second section 810b. The first section and the second section are interconnected by a living hinge 820. The first section is configured to selectively engage the second section.
