PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate distortion of a rendering image by correcting distortion of a tomographic surface of a reflection echo due to scanning while mechanically moving an ultrasonic probe.SOLUTION: In this ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, while the ultrasonic probe including a plurality of vibrator elements arrayed in the direction of a major axis is mechanically moved in the vertical direction to the direction of the major axis, data for two or more frames is acquired, and a tomographic image or a 3D image is created from the frame data. Concerning each of vibrator elements, scan data (A) of a current frame and scan data (B) of a frame ahead are acquired, a distance (LA) between a reference position X point vertical to the moving direction of the ultrasonic probe and the scan position A point of the current frame and a distance (LB) between the reference position X point and the scan position B point of one frame ahead are obtained, and data at the reference position X point is obtained by interpolation, thereby correcting the receiving position of the frame data caused by the mechanical movement of the ultrasonic probe.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】超音波探触子を機械的に移動させながらスキャンすることによる、反射エコーの断層面の歪みを補正し、レンダリング像の歪を解消する。【解決手段】長軸方向に振動子素子が複数配列された超音波探触子を、長軸方向に対し垂直方向に機械的に移動しながら、複数枚分のフレームデータを取得し、該フレームデータから断層像又は3D像を作成する超音波診断装置において、振動子素子それぞれについて、現フレームのスキャンデータ(A)及び1つ前のフレームのスキャンデータ(B)を取得し、前記超音波探触子の移動方向に垂直な基準位置X点と現フレームのスキャン位置A点との距離(LA)、及び前記基準位置X点と1つ前のフレームのスキャン位置B点との距離(LB)を求め、補間により基準位置X点におけるデータを求めることにより、超音波探触子の機械的な移動に伴うフレームデータの受信位置を補正する。【選択図】図5
