PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable conveyance of a lot of granular materials by suppressing the clogging of a channel where the granular materials drop with the granular materials, in a manufacturing apparatus of an absorbent article in which such a lot of granular materials are sandwiched.SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus includes: a hopper 5 which discharges granular materials 3 from a discharging opening 50 a roll 6 which has a plurality of concave parts 60 for receiving the granular materials 3 at the opening 50 of the hopper 5 and rotates to convey the granular materials 3 in the concave parts 60 a case 8 which suppresses spill-down of the granular materials 3 from the concave parts 60 of the roll 6 and has a curved surface 81 which defines a scattering opening 80 from which the granular materials 3 in the concave parts 60 are scattered a conveying device which conveys a first sheet for placing the granular materials 3 scattered from the scattering opening 80 on the first sheet and a guide tube which guides the granular materials 3 scattered from the scattering opening 80 onto the first sheet. An upper end of the scattering opening 80 is set so that an initial velocity of the granular materials 3 scattered from the scattering opening 80 has a vertical component in the downward direction.
