PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removal assist appliance of an indwelling catheter, which surely stores a fixture in a body cavity by weak force and surely prevents a member from falling onto the body cavity when the member is broken.SOLUTION: The removal assist appliance 1 is used for removing the indwelling catheter from the body cavity D, and includes: an outer tube 2 and an inner tube 3 for removal to be inserted to the outer tube 2 and to allow the insertion of a tube body in its inside. The inner tube 3 for removal is made of a flexible member, and includes: a plurality of slits 6 formed in a longitudinal direction and a plurality of petal shape members 7 formed between the slits 6. The outer tube 2 is made of an elastic member for suppressing the outward development of the petal shape members 7. The inner tube 3 for removal includes long holes 8 at the proximal ends of the slits 6. The petal shape members 7 are connected to the proximal end of the inner tube 3 for removal via bridging parts 9 formed between the respective long holes 8.
