PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin moisturizing function improving agent containing as an active ingredient a specific cyclic dipeptide or a salt thereof whose constitutional unit is an amino acid, to provide uses of the agent to improve skin moisturization, and to provide a method for improving skin moisturizing function, and the like.SOLUTION: We found out that a specific cyclic dipeptide has an action which remarkably improves skin moisturizing function.
