The hedge trimmer includes: a blade assembly including a first blade and a second blade that are capable of moving relatively； a motor including a motor shaft that is capable of rotating about a motor axis； a transmission device configured to transmit motion between the motor and the blade assembly； and a housing formed with a receiving cavity for receiving the motor and the transmission device. The motor drives the first blade and the second blade to move relatively. The transmission device includes: a speed reduction assembly including a first gear for introducing motion output from the motor to the transmission device； and an eccentric block assembly including an eccentric block, where the eccentric block includes a first eccentric portion for cooperating with the first blade and a second eccentric portion for cooperating with the second blade. The hedge trimmer has a higher cutting ability.
