The present invention discloses peptides suitable for inducing an immune response. The peptide corresponds to a fragment of the RAS protein and comprises a region of 8 amino acids that contains the mutated position of the RAS protein. The region has at least six amino acid residues identical to the corresponding region of the RAS protein, other than the mutated position.
