The present invention relates to a composition containing an extract of combined medicinal herbs consisting of heat-treated ginseng, Houttuyniae herba, perilla leaf and green tea leaves, or a processed extract thereof as active ingredients for preventing hair loss and stimulating hair growth. Through various animal model experiments such as an experiment to measure a hair-growing effect using 6-week old male C57BL/6 mice (Experimental Example 1)； and an experiment to measure an activating effect on the differentiation and proliferation of hair follicle dermal papilla cells (HFDPC) (Experimental Example 2), it was confirmed that the processed combined extract of the present invention showed far more potent hair-growth promoting effects than the fermented extract of Houttuyniae herba, perilla leaf and green tea leaf disclosed in the prior art document (Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2014-0114492). Therefore, the composition of the present invention can be beneficially used for treating and preventing alopecia.본 발명은 가열처리 인삼, 어성초, 자소엽, 및 녹차엽으로 구성된 복합생약 추출물 또는 이의 가공처리 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 탈모증 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 본 발명의 가공처리 추출물을 대상으로 6주령 수컷 C57BL/6 마우스를 이용한 육모 효과 측정실험 (실험예 1)； 모유두세포(HFDPC； Hair Follicle Dermal Papilla Cell)를 이용한 모유두세포 분열증식 활성화 측정 실험 (실험예 2)； 등의 발모효과 측정실험을 통하여 선행문헌 (한국특허공개 제 10-2014-0114492호)에 개시된 어성초, 자소엽, 및 녹차엽 발효물보다 본원 발명의 가공처리 조합 추출물이 당업자가 예기치 못한 보다 강력한 발모 촉진 효과가 있음을 확인하여 탈모증의 치료 및 예방에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
