PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic device capable of more appropriately evaluating the degree of damage which an insertion part suffers or the life of the insertion part.
SOLUTION: After a pressure value judgement part 18 judges whether or not pressure detected by a plurality of optical fiber sensors 17a to 17d and 17e to 17h or the like provided in the insertion part 2 is equal to or above a threshold for judging the damage, the number of applied times of the pressure equal to or above the threshold is counted by a counting part 20 and stored in a storage part 19, and also compared with a maximum allowable value by a comparison part 22. When the counted number is equal to or above the maximum allowable value, a message to demand to diagnose whether or not the insertion part is continuously used is displayed on an external display device 4 under control by a main control part 21.
