The present invention relates to a system and a method to classify a lying position using a ballistocardiography signal and, more specifically, relates to classify a lying position on a bed using a method to measure ballistocardiography. To achieve this purpose, the system to classify a lying position using the ballistocardiography signal in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a signal collection unit, an analysis unit, and a discrimination unit. The signal collecting unit collects the ballistocardiography signal of an examinee measured by a sensor included in a bed. The analysis unit analyzes the ballistocardiography signal of the collected examinee by classifying the lying position of the examinee.
