Disclosed is a use of an IL-17 inhibitor in preparation of drugs for treating and/or preventing lung injury. Specifically, a use of an IL-17 inhibitor in preparation of drugs for treating and/or preventing lung injury in mammalians comprising human is disclosed. The lung injury is caused by influenza virus infection, bacterial infection and/or fungal infection, or septicemia.
