PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental implant which can prevent the ambient inflammation of implant, and does not inhibit the affinity of a jawbone embedding part to be embedded in a jawbone.SOLUTION: Coating treatment using polypeptide or protein is applied to an area 12a contacting a gingiva D of a gingiva contacting portion 12 of a dental implant 10, and the area 12a has an arithmetic mean roughness Ra of ≤2 μm. Since the area 12a contacting the gingiva D in the gingiva contacting portion 12 has an environment where gingival cells are bonded to be easily proliferate and grow, a gap between the gingiva D and the gingiva contacting portion 12 is closed in an early stage. Also, since germs hardly attach and remain, the effects of preventing the ambient inflammation of the implant is excellent. The jawbone embedding portion 11 is configured so as not to inhibit the affinity for a jawbone G to prevent the coupling strength between the jawbone embedding portion and the jawbone G from being deteriorated.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】インプラント周囲炎を予防することができ、かつ、顎骨に埋入される顎骨埋入部の顎骨に対する親和性を阻害しない歯科インプラントを提供する。【解決手段】歯科インプラント10の歯肉接触部12の歯肉Dと接触する領域12aにポリペプチドまたは蛋白質のコーティング処理を施すともに、当該領域12aの算術平均粗さRaを2μm以下とする。歯肉接触部12の歯肉Dと接触する領域12aは、歯肉細胞が接着して増殖・成長し易い環境となるから、歯肉Dと歯肉接触部12との隙間が早期に閉塞される。また、細菌が付着・残留しにくくなるから、インプラント周囲炎の予防効果に優れる。顎骨埋入部11については、顎骨Gとの親和性を阻害しないようにして、顎骨埋入部と顎骨Gとの結合強度が損なわれないようにする。【選択図】 図1
