The invention relates to a wrapper for a tampon, specifically for non-applicator digital tampons, comprising a tubular body (1) which is formed by a sheet of flexible material (2) and which is closed longitudinally and at the opposing ends thereof, thereby defining a cavity for housing the digital tampon (T), said sheet of flexible material (2) comprising at least: a continuous outer paper layer (21) with no pre-cut holes or weakened zones, which is suitable for printing and which forms the outer surface of the wrapper (1)； and an inner layer of heat-sealable material (22) attached to the outer paper layer (21) and forming the inner face of the wrapper (1).
