The method may include: detecting (101, 201) condition of a road within a predetermined range when a trigger instruction for a predetermined function in a mobile terminal is received； and outputting (102, 204) prompt information if there is a roadblock on the road within the predetermined range. In the disclosure, the condition of the road within the predetermined range of the mobile terminal can be automatically detected, the user is provided with a simpler method for road condition detection. Additionally, since prompt information may be output according to detected results to prompt the user to pay attention to the road condition, an injury to the user caused by the roadblocks can be avoided.
