PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gauge for implant capable of improving positioning accuracy of an acetabular cup of an artificial hip joint with respect to the acetabuli and capable of improving efficiency of replacement work of the artificial hip joint, and an instrument assembly for implant.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a gauge for implant used, with it attached to an instrument for implanting an acetabular cup in the acetabuli. The gauge includes: an attachment mechanism to be attached to the instrument a support provided along a support axis line extending from the attachment mechanism an index element provided along an index axis line orthogonal to the support axis line, with an interval apart in the longitudinal direction of the support with respect to the attachment mechanism a first fixed body disposed an interval apart in the longitudinal direction of the support with respect to the attachment mechanism and fixed to the support and a first movable body attached to the first fixed body so as to turn about the support axis line. The index element extends from the first movable body along the index axis line and fixed to the first movable body.
