The objective of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for managing drugs which enables a user to rapidly find desired packaged pharmaceutical products and facilitates drug management such as grasping usage and inventory, and shortage prevention. The apparatus for managing drugs comprises a cargo box, at least one cabinet, a robot, code reader units, and a control unit. The cargo box loads packaged pharmaceutical products including identifier codes which are packaged in boxes according to types. The cabinet comprises: shelves shelf moving tools which move the shelves to a caterpillar and display units which indicate information about the packaged pharmaceutical products stored on the shelves. The robot provides the packaged pharmaceutical products in the cargo box to the shelves or withdraws the packaged pharmaceutical products on the shelves by being located between the cargo box and cabinets. The code reader units read the identifier codes of the packaged pharmaceutical products.
