PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic composition improving skin moisture retention and increasing horny layer moisture content, and also allowing the skin to be kept in tension state.SOLUTION: The present cosmetic composition comprises (A) uridine or a derivative thereof and (B) at least one kind selected from acetylglucosamine, glucuronic acid, salts of glucuronic acid and their derivatives.
