PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove weeds and clods of a ridge both in a right and left side of root vegetable crop vegetated in the ridge in the front of a moving vehicle body.SOLUTION: In the clod removal device, a pair of clod removers 4 is arranged on a leading end of a front arm 3, wherein a base end thereof is pivotally mounted on the moving vehicle body 2 and a leading end thereof is freely liftably mounted in front of the moving vehicle body, for entering in the ridge and removing the clods in the ridge in both right and left sides of the root vegetable crop S vegetated in rows to the right and left outsides.
