A frequency converting unit (120) produces frequency spectrum information about the received vector Doppler data. A detecting unit (130) detects the moving speed and direction of a tissue based on the vector Doppler data. A display unit (140) displays the moving speed and direction of the tissue by overlaying the moving speed and direction of the tissue on an ultrasonic image of the object.
