PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging sheet which hardly causes a vertically placed rod-like lump of rice to sag, and a packaged rod-like lump of rice including a rod-like lump of rice packed in the packaging sheet.SOLUTION: The packaging sheet which wraps the peripheral surface 73 of a rod-like lump of rice 7 comprises a sheet body 3 including a rectangular film, and a covering film 4 with a thermally welded part 44 inside of the sheet body 3 in the width direction from the side edge, which covers the edge face of the rod-like lump of rice 7.
