PURPOSE: A cooking pot and a cooking method are provided to prevent food in the lower part of the cooking pot from being burned by arranging an interposer in between an outer pot and an inner pot. CONSTITUTION: A cooking pot comprises an inner pot(20), an outer pot(10), a heat resistance interposer(40), and a cover member(30). Ingredients are put into the inner pot. The outer pot is bigger than the inner pot so that the inner pot is settled into the outer pot. The heat resistance interposer is interposed between the bottom of the inner pot and the bottom of the outer pot to separate between the inner pot and the outer pot. The cover member covers the upper part of the outer pot.
