The invention provides a compound grease microemulsion used in cosmetics and a preparation method thereof. The microemulsion is prepared by raw materials including compound grease, a surfactant and water, wherein the weight ratio of the compound grease, the surfactant and the water is 1:3-10:20-100 and the compound grease is a mixture of emu oil, mimusops elengi tree fruit oil, tea tree oil and vitamin E. The compound grease microemulsion is transparent or translucent in appearance, the average particle size is less than 100nm, the stability of the grease is enhanced, the compatibility of the grease with water-soluble substances is improved, and the compound grease microemulsion can be used in various skin care products and cleaning and nursing supplies, and is especially applicable to products in a transparent system.
