PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a luminance difference among slices generated by spin-echo Dual Slice measurement without depending on a B0 coil.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus calculates a frequency offset amount of at least one of a frequency of a first excitation pulse for exciting a first slice and a second excitation pulse for exciting a second slice, and a frequency of a re-convergence pulse, according to B0 components of an irregular magnetic field generated by an eddy current when a gradient magnetic field is applied.
