Composition for preventing or treating colitis containing S-allyl-L-cysteine as an active ingredient, and pharmaceutical preparation containing the same
A composition for preventing or treating colitis is provided. A composition for preventing or treating colitis according to one embodiment of the present invention includes S-allyl-L-cysteine, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or the like. The solvate or hydrate of 1 is an active ingredient, and exhibits anti-inflammation activity against colitis. The composition for preventing or treating colitis is excellent in preventing and improving colitis due to the anti-inflammatory activity effect and antioxidant activity effect of S-allyl-L-cysteine, and S-allyl-L-cysteine has side effects. Since it is not accompanied, the range of use for colitis is wide.
