A male reflux valve (10) comprising in combination: a body (12) comprising a distal body portion (14) and a proximal body portion (16), said proximal body portion (16) having a male connection (22) for connection to an access device that has a female connection； an elastomeric valve element (40) operatively placed within said distal body portion (16), said valve element (40) including a slit (44)； a core (42) operatively positioned within said distal body portion (14) to retain said valve element (40) in sealing engagement with said distal body portion (14) in an orientation with said slit (44) oriented proximally； and characterized in that it further comprises: an actuator (46) reciprocally retained within a generally circular and cylindrical longitudinal bore (48) of the proximal body portion (16)； said actuator (46) comprising a distal portion (46D) of small diameter, a central portion (46C) of large diameter and a proximal portion (46P) of small diameter, with a longitudinal perforation (50) extending therethrough for fluid flow through it； a retaining wall (52) extending radially inwardly in said proximal body portion (16) to retain said central portion (46C) in said proximal body portion (16)； said small diameter distal portion (46D) being in engagement with said slit (44) of said valve element (44) to open said valve element (40) when said proximal portion (46P) is coupled with the female connection of the device of access, thereby moving said actuator (46) distally which causes a lip of said distal portion (46D) to open said slit (44) and form a seal around it to establish a bi-directional fluid path in the valve (10) allowing fluid flow to and from the access device.Una válvula de reflujo macho (10) que comprende en combinación: un cuerpo (12) que comprende una porción de cuerpo distal (14) y una porción de cuerpo proximal (16), teniendo dicha porción de cuerpo proximal (16) una conexión macho (22) para la conexión a un dispositivo de acceso que posee una c
