PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium phosphate powder which has high flowability and gives a hardend material having high mechanical strength when used as a medical substance at a clinical site.
SOLUTION: The calcium phosphate powder comprises tetracalcium phosphate particles (A1), calcium hydrogen phosphate particles (A2) and inorganic particles (B) other than components (A1) and (A2). The average particle size of the inorganic particles (B) is 0.002-0.5 &mum. The powder includes the inorganic particles (B) of 0.1-10 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the total of components (A1) and (A2), has powder flowability of 1-40 sec/50 g and has a repose angle of 70 degrees or less.
