PURPOSE: An apparatus for purifying water in an aquarium is provided to improve the efficiency of water purification and to improve the sterilizing efficiency of water regardless of the space and the location of installation. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for purifying water includes a reacting chamber(100) equipped with one or more slanted plates(140). The slanted plates induce the downward flow of water, and bubbles are attached to the lower sides of the slanted plates. The bubbles are separated from water. The re-mixing of the bubbles with water is prevented by arranging a separating partition in the apparatus. Purified water is drained to an aquarium through a draining chamber.본 발명은 기포의 계면에 이극성 분자를 흡착하여 수중의 유기물질을 제거하는 수족관 정수장치에 관한 것으로서, 특히 작은 크기로 공간을 많이 차지하지 않고 설치공간과 위치에 구애를 받지 않으면서도 정수효율을 극도로 향상시키며, 후차적으로 자외선 살균을 통하여 고도산화 과정을 거침으로써 살균 및 정화 처리 효율을 향상시키는 수족관 정수장치에 관한 것이다.이러한 본 발명에 따른 수족관 정수장치는, 유입되어 회전하는 물의 하향흐름을 유도하여 기포가 상승작용에 의하여 하면에 부착되면서 물과 용이하게 분리되도록 하는 경사판이 구비된 반응실을 포함하여 밀폐된 하우징으로 구성되되, 상기 경사판은 다수 개가 구비되어 상부로 갈수록 점차 뒤로 후퇴하는 형태로 적층되고 전체적인 배열은 완만한 상승각도를 유지하는 것을 주된 특징으로 하여 이루어진다.
