To enable to suppress propagation of objects inhibiting growth of farm crops between farm crop rows and/or at roots of the farm crops to which the travelling means of a field travelling apparatus can not directly act.
SOLUTION: A mechanism 10 for suppressing propagation is constituted to be installed to a farm field travelling apparatus 1 equipped with a machine body frame 2 formed in a gate type crossing over a planted crop row in a farm field and a pair of crawlers 3 mounted ON both sides of the machine body frame 2 to suppress propagation of objects inhibiting growth of farm crops between crop roots and/or the crop roots of the farm crop C. The mechanism is also equipped with support means 32 arranged at inner sides of machine bodies of each of crawlers 3 and stroking means 33 constituted so that the base ends of which are supported by the support means 32 and the top ends of which are extended to positions of roots of farm crop C inner sides of the machine body to stroke the farm field surface between crop roots and/or at the crop roots of the farm crop C.
