Non-human, transgenic animal that contains: (a) in all diploid cells, a first DNA sequence for the expression of a protein from a gene under the control of the tetracycline promoter (Tet promoter)； and (b) in the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus, a second DNA that has been introduced by injection of a lentivirus that comprises it in the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus, said second DNA being for the expression of the rtTA gene under the control of a specific promoter for the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus, so that the expression of rtTA induces the expression of the protein encoded by the first DNA sequence in this target tissue.Animal no humano, transgénico que contiene: (a) en todas las células diploides, una primera secuencia de ADN para la expresión de una proteína a partir de un gen bajo el control del promotor de tetraciclina (promotor de Tet)； y (b) en la circunvolución dentada del hipocampo, un segundo ADN que se ha introducido mediante inyección de un lentivirus que lo comprende en la circunvolución dentada del hipocampo, siendo dicho segundo ADN para la expresión del gen rtTA bajo el control de un promotor específico para la circunvolución dentada del hipocampo, de modo que la expresión del rtTA induce la expresión de la proteína codificada por la primera secuencia de ADN en este tejido diana.
